What We Believe

Statement of Purpose

To be the body of Christ, to witness the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world, to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, to encourage and build up every man, woman and child, to spur one another on to good works, to glorify God.

Doctrinal Statement

We believe in the one true living God who exists as the Father, Son and HolySpirit.  He is worthy of all honor, praise and glory as Creator, Sustainer, and the Beginning and End of all things.

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.  We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead.  He ascended into Heaven, sits at the right hand of God the Father, and shall come again in glory to judge both the living and the dead.  His Kingdom shall have no end.

We believe that the Bible is the Holy, written Word of God.  It is the authoritative standard and absolute truth and is not to be added to or taken from.

We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, the living Word of God.  There is no other way to eternal life except through acceptance of Jesus as the true Son of God and as our personal Savior.  He, by the outpouring of His blood on the cross, became the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and for the sins of the whole world.

What We Do

We have many opportunities for ministry and service here at Faith Community Chapel.  We hope that our light for Jesus Christ shines brightly.
